Cook, describing the results of the SHRM survey, says, "When asked to identify the benefits that were most important to their employees, respondents overwhelmingly rated health care (95%) and retirement benefits at the top of the list. Many HR departments are already acting on this kind of information to help recruit and retain top talent." Cook also notes that the survey asked about other issues, such as how employers can communicate benefits information to their employees.
